A day in your life as an ATM Specialist

Under the general direction of the ATM Servicing Manager, this position reviews day to day activities of ATM operations relating to cash settlement and balancing. Provides follow-up on inquires and disputes to ATM transactions.  Reviews operational reports daily to identify trends, fraudulent activities, or operational improvements. Assist in business unit’s compliance with applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements and Bank policies and procedures, including but not limited to those related to Fair Banking, Anti-Money Laundering laws and regulations, Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act. In addition, this position is responsible for demonstrating the Excellence in Sales/Service (ESS) philosophy by participating in and practicing ESS disciplines and behaviors.

 

We’ll give you these important responsibilities…

  • ATM Deposit Balancing Reporting, Researching and Recording. Working independently, creates daily reports to identify names of customers who deposited cash at ATMs and the amount deposited may not be accurately recorded by the system.  Performs research and ensures the proper credit and debit of accounts. 
  • Operational Reporting.  Performs daily review of all ATM operational reports and under the direction of the ATM Servicing Manager implements action plans to ensure ATMs are performing at peak levels. Prepares weekly and month end reports and updates as part of an operational dashboard to communicate to management.
  • Customer & Internal Stakeholder Support. Supports the ATM Servicing Manager by receiving, researching, resolving, and responding to inquiries from customers, branches, and other departments timely and efficiently. 
  • Dispute and Charge-off Reporting. Responsible for accurate dispute and charge off reporting and trending analysis to support management review and action plans to mitigate and prevent future losses. 
  • Performs all other miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned.

 


Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

 

Experience:  

  • Minimum 2 years of accounting or bank operations experience

 

Technical Skills:

  • Demonstrated proficiency and expertise with personal computers and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, MS Access and PowerPoint) or similar software. 
  • Knowledge of or ability to use bank software. 
  • Able to analyze data and develop spreadsheets.

 

Other Job Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Must be analytical, detail oriented, organized. 
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities. 
  • Must be a team player and self-starter. 
  • Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays, as necessary and assigned.
