A day in your life as a Vault Operations Teller - Peak-Time:

Under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor/Workflow Coordinator, this position is primarily responsible for accepting incoming routes/deliveries form the Armored Car couriers and vendors, assisting in the balancing of all incoming routes and providing relief to all other sections of Vault Services and Operations to assist the department in meeting daily deadlines.  Must adhere to department standard safety requirements.  If applicable or appropriate, assists in business unit’s compliance with applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements and Bank policies and procedures, including but not limited to those related to Fair Banking, Anti-Money Laundering laws and regulations, Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act. 

 

We’ll give you these important responsibilities…

  • Verifies/balances/accepts incoming deliveries from Armored Car couriers and vendors.  Sorts/logs/distributes armored car bags, control entry/exit of armored car personnel to bays/man traps, ensuring security and processing procedures are followed at all times. 
  • Provides relief support in all other areas of department.  May be responsible for balancing a cash truck and adhering to cash handling guidelines.
  • Completes assigned duties within section to include balancing incoming bags and sales drafts.
  • Displays ability to communicate with internal/external customers and staff in a professional manner.
  • Performs all other miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned.

 


Qualifications

Education:

  • High school diploma or G. E. D.

 

Experience: 

  • Minimum 0 – 1 years of responsible work experience.

 

Technical Skills: 

  • Demonstrated proficiency with personal computers in a networked environment and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) or similar software.
  • Knowledge of or ability to use Bank software and systems.
  • Ability to independently operate required equipment after initial training period.

 

Other Job Qualifications: 

  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Analytical ability and math skills sufficient to balance incoming routes.
  • Must be able to lift/transport up to 50 pounds and be able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Able to work flexible hours including weekends and shift work, 0 – 19 hours per week.
  • Steel toe shoes and ear protection required.
